Buju Banton
One of the highlights of my cake journey was having the honor of creating both Buju Banton's birthday cake and the celebration cake for the release of his album, Butterflies.
Buju Banton is a legendary Jamaican reggae, dancehall, and roots artist whose powerful voice and timeless music have influenced generations around the world. With a career spanning more than three decades, he is known for iconic hits such as Destiny, Untold Stories, Champion, and Wanna Be Loved. His music has earned international acclaim, including a Grammy Award, and he continues to be one of the most respected and influential figures in reggae.
Being trusted to create cakes for such a meaningful celebration was an unforgettable experience. From designing pieces that reflected the occasion to being invited to attend the show itself, it was a true full-circle moment that reminded me why I love creating edible art.

Christopher Martin
Creating this custom celebration cake for VP Records and Jamaican reggae artist Christopher Martin was an unforgettable experience and one of the most meaningful projects I've had the opportunity to be part of.
Founded in 1979, VP Records is the world's largest independent reggae record label and has played a major role in bringing reggae, dancehall, soca, and Caribbean music to audiences across the globe. The label has worked with some of the industry's most influential artists and continues to shape the sound and culture of Caribbean music.
This cake was designed to celebrate the CEO of VP Records, featuring a creative concept that highlighted him as a young boy. Recreating such a personal moment in cake form required thoughtful planning, intricate details, and a design that honored both his journey and the legacy of the company he helped build.
Sharing the evening with the VP Records family and acclaimed reggae singer Christopher Martin, known for hits like Cheaters Prayer, I'm a Big Deal, and Paper Loving, made the celebration even more memorable. Seeing the reactions to the cake and witnessing such a meaningful tribute come to life was incredibly rewarding.
Projects like this remind me why I love what I do. Every cake tells a story, and being trusted to help celebrate milestones for such influential figures in Caribbean music is an honor I'll always cherish.
